The RE Provisional Q-Ride Course is the second step on your journey to your open motorcycle licence.
The Q-Ride RE provisional licence course is a training and assessment program designed to help learner riders further develop their riding knowledge and motorcycle handling skills. The basis of this course is to ensure learner riders have the knowledge and skills to ride safely and unaccompanied.

Once you have successfully completed the course and are deemed competent your competency declaration will be processed online and you will be able to apply for your RE Provisional licence online (click here to apply online) or, you can apply in person at the Department of Transport. You will be required to hold this licence for a minimum of 2 YEARS before you are eligible to participate in your R Open Licence Course.

For complete novice riders we recommend booking in for our Beginners Package. For riders with some experience but who have not ridden in a while or have had no formal training we recommend booking in to our Intermediate Package.
